Situation

JWC Property Management is one of the leading property management companies in Central Texas. They are responsible for conducting several inspection types including move in/move out inspections and lease renewals. They were looking for a way to streamline their move in/move out inspection process and reduce tenant issues regarding property damage and repair. They needed software that could be easily modified for the many types of properties that they manage.

Solution

PDmB provided JWC Property Management with a software solution that allowed them to enter inspection data directly into a pocket PC. JWC customized the inspection forms for the wide variety of properties they manage. This simplified their move in inspections by allowing them to easily conduct the inspection and record results while walking the property with the tenant. Today, after the inspection is complete, they collect an electronic signature from the tenant and then print out a copy. Upon move out, the move in inspection and pictures are readily available to share with the tenant which allows JWC to avoid issues regarding property damage and repair.

Results

Significant results have been achieved by JWC that include:
