Situation

Cranetech Inc. provides numerous services including crane inspection and repair. Their challenge was that dual entry was necessary as the inspector in the field would take hand notes and these notes would later be written up back at the office. The process was inefficient and also led to the possibility of errors in the data transfer process.

Solution

PDspect provided Cranetech with a software solution that allowed them to enter field data directly into a Pocket PC. This eliminated the need for dual entry. Working with PDspect, Cranetech was able to develop forms that were customized to their needs and were given the tools to make future changes to these forms as their business evolved.
